Meet The Artist

Hi! I’m Andrea, and I’m so glad you’re here!

I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, where my courageous mother nurtured my creative spirit from the beginning. When I was 9, we moved to Dallas, TX, so my mom could pursue her Ph.D. As my passion for art grew, I studied Graphic Design at Baylor University. But it was amidst the wonder of painting classes that I realized my true passion was creating with my hands - immersed in the tactile joy of painting, drawing, and sculpting - rather than the digital world of graphic design. I’m deeply grateful to pursue this path, and hope my work reflects the beauty and goodness in life.

I now live in Dallas with my husband Daniel, who’s become an honorary Colombian - I mean, just look at him salsa dancing in the photo above! ;)

Through my art, I aim to highlight the unique beauty in each person. I’m inspired by the truth that every soul is created in the image of God (Psalm 139:14), and find joy in celebrating this through my work with paper and helping others honor each other.

The Process Behind The Art

My cut paper portraits are created by transforming your favorite moments into a classic, modern and one-of-a-kind work of art. Each piece is strategically drawn, cut, and layered to create a 3 dimensional effect. It is then framed, carefully wrapped, and shipped to your home! Each work comes with a certificate of authenticity, and takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on the complexity.

If you’re looking for a meaningful treasure to gift yourself or your loved one, let’s make it happen! Click here to send me a message and get started.

Kind Words

There are very few artists I have seen that when you see their art, you see the finger of God. My wife is one of them.
— Daniel Tillman
Andrea’s cut paper portrait of my wedding day is the most special piece of artwork I own! It’s simple, yet detailed and captures all the emotions we were feeling that day. The layers and shadows they create are all so delicate and intricate. It just fills me with joy each time I see it! She’s very talented!

When Andrea gave me the cut paper she made of me, I was in total awe. Every little detail of her cut paper was so exquisitely crafted, and assembled my dance picture to a tee. It was such a special gift to receive that I will always hold close to my heart. She is a wonderful talent, and I’m always amazed by what new cut paper she creates. I’m so honored to be a small part of her journey!
